This shell vase was certainly inspired by society florist Constance Spry whose most popular vase designs were much copied and reproduced in the 50’s. This deep romantic shell shaped vase is crying out to be styled with generous quantities of hedgerow vines and a collection of buds and blooms.

The exterior of the vase has creamy glaze with a soft green ombre finish to the top edge of the interior. This is a vintage piece with slight signs of wear, the surface has light crazing and iron spots in the interior, which is entirely in keeping with its age and only adds  to the character.
