This wonderful large swan vessel is a veritable show stopper, ready to elevate the ordinary to a very fine place. A strong statement piece with presence, it deserves to be styled and positioned in a prominent position. It’s large enough to be a commaning stand alone sculptural piece or to hold a wonderful variety of flowers and foliage showing them off at their very best. Swan imagery is always a firm favourite in design and with their place in historic chivalry, IMHO they are having their moment, remember you heard it here first!

This is a vintage piece, the beak over painting is patchy and creamy glaze will have slight crackling with some iron spots on the interior surface which only adds to the character of ceramics of this age.
